Shipping & Returns

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:

We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  Some orders may take up to 4-6 weeks to ship (see below for vendor specific lead times).  If you have any questions, please feel free to follow up with us at info@standingdesknation.com.  The delivery service does not include set up nor assembly of items, nor removal of packaging materials (unless some exceptions available, depending on vendor).

Damages:

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please send photos to returns@standingdesknation.com and we will process a claim on your behalf.  We only work with honorable brands, so they are always eager to help!

Cancellations & Refunds:

All orders cancelled after 24 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped.  If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.

Shipping & Returns:

As I'm sure you can imagine, most of these desks and accessories are very large items, and unfortunately are not very easy to ship.  As a result (and despite our best wishes) we cannot offer free returns.  Return terms vary by brand and by product (outlined below), and in most cases, there will be a cost associated with returned items.  Our best solution is to offer friendly expert advice and insight to help make sure you get the desk that's best for you - so you won't need to return it!

Shipping

Custom platform orders require 4 to 6 weeks.  Seating orders with no more than 3 chairs, monitor arm orders with no more than 10 units and ergo products of any quantity will ship within 7 business days from the date of order. Unless otherwise contractually specified, Freedom and Liberty chairs will ship with the base and frame disassembled. Chairs can be easily assembled in seconds without use of tools.

Returns

All returned and non-damaged refused orders are subject to a five percent (5%) restocking fee. Seating and special order returns will not be accepted. Customer must request a Return Authorization within 45 days of product receipt to return any product, and will be responsible for the cost of shipping. Return Authorizations expire sixty (60) days after the date of issue. If the returned product is not in resalable condition, customer will not receive credit for the return. Customer must promptly provide a purchase order or other acceptance of fees/credit reduction as required.

 

Shipping

Most products ship within 3 days of your order.  Locus and Sphere desks may sometimes have extended lead times due to high demand.  Confluence tables ship within 1-2 weeks.

25% restocking fee, and customer will be responsible for cost of return shipping.

In-stock desks usually ship within 2-3 business days, and will spend 2-5 days in transit.  48” – 60” desks will ship UPS Ground.  Larger desks will ship via freight truck.

Returns

For UPLIFT desk frames and standard UPLIFT GREENGUARD-certified laminate, 1" thick bamboo, and reclaimed wood desktops:
If you decide to send your desk back, you can do so with no restocking fees on standard laminate, 1" thick bamboo, and reclaimed wood desks and frame-only orders. Just let us know about your intention to return within 30 days of receiving your desk. Because solid wood tops and custom laminates are made to order, they are not returnable, though you can return the base. Accessories purchased with the desk do not qualify and are subject to our standard return policy listed below. Multiple-desk orders do not qualify; please order one desk first if you want to test it out.

  • No restocking fee is applied for the return of a desk frame or a standard laminate, 1" thick bamboo, or reclaimed wood desktop.
  • You will not be charged for the baseline outbound freight cost. This does not apply to freight service add-ons such as Room of Choice Delivery, Installation, or Non-Contiguous US Delivery.
  • You'll be responsible for shipping the products to the return address provided with the RMA number.

For products other than UPLIFT desk frames and standard desktops:

  • If the package has been opened, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Outbound shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • You'll be responsible for shipping the products to the return address provided with the RMA number.

30-day risk-free return on all desks if you have decided you no longer want or need it, provided it’s new, unused and in the original packaging as received or defective.  Otherwise, a 15% restocking fee will be applied.  No returns after 30 days.
